Graphics

Year 9 and 11 students are currently working on their Graphics coursework which is due in on Monday 25 March. All students are encouraged to attend Graphics Club held at the end of the day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in D2 to help them complete their projects.

Students in Years 12 and 13 are also working towards completing their coursework which is due in on Thursday 28 March. All students are encouraged to attend Product Design Club held at the end of the day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in D2 to help them complete their projects.

Coursework will be marked and given back to students and a short time will be allowed to make amendments to coursework before the final grading.

Year 12 Engineering Education Scheme

Congratulations to Georgi Angelchev, Dom McCullum, Jonathon Simmons and Ross Morton who attended a residential event at City of Bristol College as part of the Engineering Education Scheme (ESS). The students have been working with Eleanor Launder-Brown from Sarco based at Yeovilton RAF Station to design and manufacture a helicopter engine stand.

The students worked with engineers from the City of Bristol College to manufacture the stand. They designed and produced several prototypes before manufacturing a scaled version out of steel. The students now have to complete the project for the assessment and celebration day in May.
